A short guide to the 0.1.0 developer preview.
Before you install
This preview is not yet listed in the Chrome Web Store or Edge Add-ons. Live marketplace validation is still in progress. Use it for evaluation and verify exported information against its source.
1. Install the preview
Download the ZIP below and extract it into a permanent folder. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome or edge://extensions in Edge, enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked, and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json. Use Chrome 120 or later, or a compatible current Edge browser.

2. Open a supported storefront
Start with an Amazon.com or eBay.com product page. For Shopify, open a public product page on the store you want to use, then grant access to that specific site in the extension popup. Some storefront themes or page layouts may not be recognized.
3. Select and export
Open SKUGrab from the toolbar. Show the collection panel and scan the currently loaded list. Select product cards, then start the batch. The extension opens temporary detail tabs and closes the tabs it created. Keep the browser open until your download completes.
4. Review the files
A single product downloads as a product-named JSON. A batch downloads as SKUGrab_YYYYMMDD_HHmmss.zip, containing one JSON per product. Image fields contain URLs, not downloaded image files. Missing fields and partial variants are identified by completeness notes.
Allowance and stopping
The free allowance is 20 products per UTC day. Each product in a ZIP counts once; interrupted downloads release reserved allowance when their state is known. Stop the batch from the panel when needed. Restarting the browser does not automatically resume collection.
If a page does not work
Refresh the page, open SKUGrab again, confirm site permission and scan the loaded list. Login pages, CAPTCHAs, unsupported domains and unavailable data cannot be bypassed. For help, send the public page URL, browser version and a redacted screenshot to our support email. Do not send passwords, cookies or account details.
